YoRate Terms of Use

1. What YoRate is — and isn't

• YoRate converts currencies and estimates what a purchase, withdrawal or transfer will cost you, including card fees and taxes.
• Exchange rates are indicative. They are mid-market rates from third-party data providers, updated periodically, and may differ from the rate your bank, card network or exchange office actually applies.
• Fees and taxes are estimates. Bank fees and tax rules are collected from public sources and shown with the date they were last checked. Banks and governments change them; check with your bank before relying on a number.
• Not financial advice. YoRate is an information tool. It is not a bank, payment service, exchange office or investment adviser, and must not be used for trading or for settling transactions.
• YoRate is not affiliated with or endorsed by any bank, card network or service mentioned in the Service. Visa, Mastercard and other names and marks belong to their owners.

2. Who can use YoRate

You must be old enough to accept these Terms in your country, or use the Service with the permission of a parent or guardian.

3. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, and the Website, for your own non-commercial purposes, in line with these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded the App from.

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, resell or redistribute exchange rates, fee data or other content from the Service;
• access our servers or API other than through the App or Website, or interfere with their operation;
• reverse engineer, decompile or modify the App, except where the law allows it;
• use the Service for anything unlawful.

4. Free and Premium

• Some features are free; others require a YoRate Premium subscription. The features in each plan are described in the App and may change over time.
• Billing. Premium is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play and is charged to your store account. Prices are shown in the App before you buy.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Free trials. If a trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• Restore purchases. Use "Restore purchases" in the App to restore Premium on a new device with the same store account.

5. Rate alerts and notifications

Alerts depend on data providers, our server, Apple and Google notification services and your device settings. They may be delayed or not delivered. Don't rely on them for time-critical decisions.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, code and the YoRate name and logo, belongs to Margoapps or its licensors. These Terms don't give you any rights to them except the licence in section 3.

8. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including about accuracy, completeness or timeliness of exchange rates, fees, taxes or other data, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Margoapps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of money, profits or data, arising from your use of or reliance on the Service, including decisions made based on exchange rates, fees, taxes or alerts shown in the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your rights as a consumer.

11. Ending your use

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if we stop offering the Service. Sections 1, 3 (restrictions), 7, 9, 10, 12 and 14 survive termination.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Yerevan, Armenia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring a claim in your local courts where those laws allow.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you in the App. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

14. App Store terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and Margoapps only, not Apple. Margoapps, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
• Your licence is limited to using the App on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
• If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App.
• Margoapps, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
• If a third party claims that the App or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, Margoapps, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
• You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, once you accept them, Apple may enforce them against you.

If you downloaded the App from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your purchase and use of the App.
